Using our data driven approach, we help our university partners develop experiential programs that are effective and impactful. Whether it’s a completely new program, or revamping existing curriculum, we ensure proven high-quality experiences and meaningful company interactions at a cadence that is appropriate for student development.
One of the most critical elements of an effective experiential learning program is connecting with industry partners who are engaged and relevant to the students. Whether its companies, industry speakers, innovation hubs, or international universities, we have a global partner network of 150+ organizations that we provide access to.
Successful experiential learning starts and ends with the student experience. That’s why our platform was designed with student needs in mind. We support with program marketing, registration, payments, and student customer service to ensure a seamless experience for each student. We also track student analytics to measure the impact of each program and provide insights to our University partners.
Many experiential learning programs often require on-site visits or a travel element, but let’s face it, Universities aren’t in the business of managing travel. That’s why we provide a range of travel management services including risk and safety assessments, on ground support and logistics, travel technology, and unique cultural experiences.
Curating challenging yet achievable project deliverables is important for student skill development during capstones and live cases. However, university administrators and company representatives don’t always speak the same language. We leverage our experience to scope meaningful projects, find a strong curricular match, and provide students with standardized project templates throughout their engagement.
International experience fosters many of the soft skills that employers are seeking today, including leadership development, adaptability, critical thinking, cultural intelligence, and communication. Many of these skills are difficult to teach through traditional classroom environments.Unfortunately, traditional study abroad programs aren’t accessible to a majority of the student population, especially amongst shortened graduate programs.
Global Immersions are short-term programs that allow students to experience firsthand the economic ecosystems, business practices, and market dynamics of a particular country while meeting with company representatives, thought leaders, government officials, and local communities. These programs help students develop a foundation understanding of industry specific trends as well as cultural norms. Through these shared experiences, students not only strength their soft skills, but also expand their global professional network.
Through our suite of services, we help universities launch or improve their Global Immersion programs. From program development to student and travel management, we ensure high-quality programs that deliver on student learning goals and objectives.
Students often times have a difficult time truly understanding what a “day-in-the-life” means within certain industries and sectors. Moreover, many students lack meaningful access and connections to certain companies, or even industries, once they do decide on their desired career.
Career Treks are an opportunity for students to explore different career pathways and broaden industry knowledge by engaging with companies through office tours, informal networking opportunities, and employer panel discussion. These professional development programs have proven to not only help students narrow their desired career pathway, but also increase their recruitability amongst employers.
We help universities and student clubs build meaningful career treks across a range of industries. With insider access to a network of 150+ global companies, and services to support with student management and travel logistics, our Career Treks offer students a seamless experience to explore new industries and network with leading employers.
Experiential Capstone Projects
Only 36% of business leaders believe that higher education adequately prepares students with the skills sought by employers. Additionally, traditional in-classroom teaching methods often have low student knowledge retention rates. However, it has been proven that experiential learning methods, where students apply theoretical lessons to real-world problems, have both increased knowledge retention and helped bridge the employer skills gap.
Experiential Capstone Projects provide an opportunity for students to apply theoretical content to real-world company challenges. During a semester long course, student teams will consult with companies to tackle a relevant enterprise challenge and deliver an actual solution that may be implemented by the industry partner. Through this hand on learning experience, students will learn how to work on a team while also developing leadership, project management, and critical thinking skills that employers seek in today’s workforce.
Finding engaged employers with relevant business challenges and successfully integrating these into course curriculum is a difficult challenge for most universities. With our expertise and global partner network, we source companies, scope projects, and measure student results, making it easy for our University partners to launch effective capstone projects.
Often, universities and faculty are looking for ways to integrate real-world company challenges into their curriculum, without having to launch a full-scale capstone project. Most professors do so through Harvard Business Review case studies, which are often outdated and uninteresting to many students.
Live Cases are a new, innovate form to the case study methodology.. Rather than using an early 2000s CEMEX case, professors can now integrate real-time enterprise and industry challenges into their curriculum. Live Cases improve the relevancy of the business problem, which results in higher student engagement. Additionally, students learn by applying their course lessons and get the opportunity to pitch their solution to the company partner.
Through our global partner network, we help match company challenges with curriculum and learning objectives that are most aligned to our university and faculty partners. We also measure and track the implementation of student solutions for professors to use in future learning modules.
